Horses

Students may trailer in their own horses for lessons or use one of ours.

Our horses and ponies are well-schooled and can safely teach riders of different levels, from begginer to advanced.

Horse Care

Under correct supervision, students are asked to be responsible for their tack and for grooming their own lesson horses, and shown the correct way to handle themselves around the animals. They finish the lesson by attending to the horse's aftercare and cleaning up after themselves and their tack.

Arenas

Two rings, an outdoor ring finished in blue stone and an enclosed, weathertight indoor arena footed in shredded recycled leather provide a safe, secure learning and work environment all year round.

Picnic tables and chairs on a hillside make the outdoor ring a lovely place for parents to watch lessons (below and above right). An upstairs viewing loft makes the indoor arena accessible to observers as well (above, left).
